Nuala Walsh
Born and bred in County Wicklow, Ireland, Nuala trained at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London
Although based in London, she still has bases in Ireland and loves to return. She toured with the well renowned Irish Theatre Company Galloglass, in their formative years (The Big Sea; Broken Ground and The Good Woman of Setzuan). Tours across the UK include Middle Ground Theatre Company's The Verdict; the highlands and islands of Scotland with Mull theatre Company in Martin Mcdonagh’s A Skull in Connemara as well as the award winning Copenhagen. She returned to Scotland to tour one of her favourite plays, Martin Mcdonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane. West end credits include Martin Mcdonagh’s A Skull in Connemara for the Michael Grandage Company.
Film credits include the Hartley Merrill award-winning feature Conspiracy of Silence, the award winning short Sketch directed and written by Peter Lee Scott, and the award winning Photo Studio on the Corner directed by Laura Salagnac.
TV credits include the ever popular Call the Midwife and Doctors for the BBC
An actor with comedy in her blood and bones, she has featured in the cult series Father Ted as Sister Mary Gondola and played the vampish receptionist Clarabell in the popular CBBC series Scoop amongst other screen comedy roles.
